You often hear the phrase, "Take care of yourself." The most common reply is an affirmative of some sort or you say, "You, too."
But, do you really take good care of yourself? Do you make sure to eat right, include exercise or some other "activity" for most days, shower or bathe, and get a good night's sleep?
In addition to taking care of your body, are you loving your inner "self?" Are you praying, meditating or repeating positive mantras over and over?
When someone suggest that you do "something for yourself," do you even think of doing any of the above? Well, you should. Taking care of your body is also good for anxiety, depression and ADHD. Same goes for "loving" your self -- your soul.
I realized this today after exercising and taking a long, hot shower. Everything we can do to improve our body and/or spirit also adds to our self-esteem! Better self-esteem makes it easier to beat down anxiety and depression and those dealing with ADD or ADHD will find the bad symptoms decreasing as well.
So, please start or continue taking good care of both your body and your inner self. Your self-care directly relates to how you feel and therefore, how well you can handle the bad things that come your way!

I wrote a post on my Blogger page, "Depression and Anxiety Help" in the wee hours of this morning. It starts out as follows:
But, I'm fed up and "I can't take it anymore."

Can't Take It Any More
For several years now, I have taken my mother-in-law and brother-in-law to their appointments, pharmacy, bank and to stores. I also ran errands such as shopping, buying cigarettes, picking up prescriptions and almost anything else that they wanted me to do.

Today, I posted on my blog "Anxiety and Depression Help" and listed Live Journal as a good way to record feelings, moods, problems and more. It may not be a big deal, but I thought I should mention it.
I haven't been on here for a long time, again. I've used Facebook to check up on friends and family. I've even posted some items on there that could be considered "Journal Entries". If you want to, check out my Facebook page. I'm listed as Theresa Jewel Ammons .

Hello. I'm back after not signing in for a very long time. I've been gone so long that I had to get my user name sent to me and then make a new password.
A lot has happened since I was last on here. One of the worst things, if not #1 worst, is that one of my two cats had to be put down. She had been sick for 2-3 weeks or possibly more. Why did we wait so long? We didn't know how sick she was and my husband and I argued over using a credit card for the veterinarian.
Once at the vet office, we found out that it was an incurable condition. The veterinarian said that she would have died soon anyway. He didn't charge us for putting her to sleep. I cried a lot and I couldn't even post it to my blog until three days later.
